Lake Son-Kul: Son-Kul alpine Lake (3016 m above sea level). Nomadic herders and their family spend the summer around the Lake area tending their yaks and sheep on lush pastures. It is possible to see the nomadic women making colourful rugs and bags with traditional Kyrgyz design.

Itinerary
Bishkek - Chon - Kemin - Grigoryevka Gorge - Issyk -Kul - Son-Kul - Bishkek

Day 1. Arrival in airport "Manas". Transfer from airport "Manas" to Bishkek (40 km from Bishkek). Transfer to a hotel Guest house "Asia Mountains". Rest. After small briefing (around 12:00) transfer to Chon-Kemin (1900 m above sea level). Accommodation in Guest House.

Day 2. Transfer (around 1 hour) from Chon-Kemin to a valley of the river the Kashka-Suu (start point of trek part, 2000 m above sea level). Trekking from a valley of the river Kashka-Suu in a valley of the river Koi-Suu (2350 m above sea level about 6-7 hours). Overnight in tents.

Day 3. Trekking from a valley of the river Koi-Suu to a valley of the river the Severnaya Cholpon-Ata (2550 m above sea level, about 6 hours). Overnight in tents.

Day 4. Trekking from a valley of the river the Severnaya Cholpon-Ata to a valley of the river Zapadnaya Ak-Suu, before glacier (3000 m above sea level? about 3-4 hours). Overnight in tents.

Day 5. Trekking from a valley of the river the Zapadnaya Ak-Suu to a valley of the river Chon-Ak-Suu (3066 m above sea level about 6-7 hours), through pass the Ak-Suu (4052 m above sea level). Overnight in tents.

Day 6. Trekking during a valley of the river the Chon-Ak-Suu (2375 m above sea level about 4 hours). Overnight in tents.

Day 7. Trekking from a valley of the river the Chon-Ak-Suu to Grigor"evka Gorge. Transfer along the North coast of Issyk-Kul lake to Bulan-Sogotu area where is situated one of the biggest Hotel at Issyk-Kul area, "Aurora Issyk-Kul" Hotel, that was builted at Soviet Union era and reminisence from a special phase in history and architecture (160 km). Dinner in the Hotel (1609 m above the sea).

Day 8. Rest Day. Free time by Issyk-Kul Lake. Relaxing and swimming in the Lake Issyk-Kul. Accommodation in "Aurora Issyk-Kul".

Day 9. Transfer to Lake Son - Kul from Lake Issyk-Kul (300 km from Bulan-Sogotu, via Kochkor village and pass Kalmak - Ashuu (3250 m above sea level), about 6-7 hours). Accommodation in Yurts.

Day 10. Transfer by hours from north bank of the lake to the south coast through east side. It takes 5-6 hours. Accommodation using tents.

Day 11. Transfer by hours from north bank of the lake to the south coast through east side. It takes 5-6 hours. Half day free time by Son-Kul Lake. Relaxing and Horse riding on the Lake Son-Kul. Accommodation using tents.

Day 12. Transfer to Bishkek (365 km) via Kochkor village. On the way you visit the Burana Tower (11th century) the remains of Karakhanid"s empire in Central Asia. Accommodation in "Ak-Keme" Hotel (800 m).

Day 13. Breakfast. City tour in Bishkek. Excursions and sightseeing. Visiting Museums, eastern bazaar, souvenirs shops. SPA. Lunch and dinner in the city. Accommodation in "Ak-Keme" Hotel.

Day 14. Transfer to the airport. Fly home.

Level of difficulty: This tour is recommended for people with hiking experience (hiking time approximately 5-7 hours per day).

Conditions: It is necessary to bring a sleeping bag, warm clothes and trekking boots.
